Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of this website. The agreement covering actual training or pet care services is separate, and you'll receive it before any work begins.
1. Who these terms are with
This website is operated by Bark at the Moon, LLC. By using it, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
2. What this website is
This site is informational. It describes services we offer and lets you join a waitlist for our move to St. Petersburg, Florida.
Joining the waitlist is not a booking, a reservation, or a contract. It doesn't guarantee availability, a particular price, a particular start date, or that we will be able to work with you or your dog. Prices and services shown on this site may change and are not offers.
3. Services are governed by a separate agreement
If we go on to work together, you'll receive a separate service agreement covering scheduling, payment, cancellation, veterinary authorization, and liability. That agreement controls the services. Nothing on this website changes it.
4. No guaranteed training outcomes
We are certified professionals using fear-free, positive-reinforcement methods, and we take that seriously. But dogs are living animals, and results depend on the individual dog, its history and health, and how consistently the people in its life follow through between sessions.
We do not guarantee any particular behavioral result, timeline, or outcome. Testimonials and reviews on this site describe those clients' experiences and are not a promise of what you will experience.
5. Not veterinary or medical advice
Nothing on this website is veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for care from a licensed veterinarian. Behavior changes can have medical causes. If your dog is unwell, injured, or has had a sudden change in behavior, contact your veterinarian. In an emergency, contact an emergency veterinary hospital immediately.
6. Your responsibilities as an owner
If you engage us, you are responsible for:
- telling us truthfully and in advance about any history of biting, aggression, or injury to a person or another animal;
- keeping your dog's vaccinations current as required by law and by us;
- disclosing known medical conditions, medications, and dietary restrictions; and
- your dog's behavior, including any harm it causes, to the extent the law allows.
Withholding a bite or aggression history puts our team and other animals at risk and may end the engagement immediately.
7. Information you send us
Please give us accurate information, and don't submit anything unlawful, abusive, or that belongs to someone else. Don't use this site to attempt to interfere with it, scrape it, or gain unauthorized access. We handle what you send us as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Our content
The text, photographs, logos, and design on this site belong to Bark at the Moon, LLC or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and share them for personal, non-commercial purposes. Please don't reproduce them commercially without asking us first.
9. Links to other sites
We link to other websites, including social media and businesses we like. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
10. Availability
We try to keep this site accurate and available, but we don't promise it will be error-free or uninterrupted, and we may change or remove content at any time.
11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, this website is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bark at the Moon, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of this website.
Some states don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing in this section takes away any right or remedy the consumer-protection law of your own state gives you.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the last revision, and continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.
