Privacy Policy

Short version: we collect what you type into our waitlist form, we use it to contact you about Bark at the Moon, and we don't sell it, trade it, or hand it to advertisers. There are no advertising trackers on this website.

Who we are

Bark at the Moon, LLC ("we", "us") provides dog training and pet care services. We are currently based at the Jersey Shore, New Jersey, and are relocating to St. Petersburg, Florida. You can reach us any time at hello@barkatthemoonllc.com.

What we collect

We only collect personal information that you type into a form on this site. Today that is the St. Pete waitlist form, which asks for:

  • your name;
  • your email address and/or phone number;
  • your dog's name and breed;
  • which services you're interested in;
  • anything you choose to write in the "what would you like help with?" box; and
  • whether you ticked the boxes agreeing to receive email or text messages.

When you submit that form, our host also records the country your request came from and your browser's user-agent string. We use these to spot automated spam. We do not store your IP address.

We don't ask for and don't want payment card numbers, government ID numbers, or any other sensitive personal information through this website.

What we do with it

  • Contact you about your place on the waitlist and about availability in St. Petersburg.
  • Answer whatever you asked us.
  • Understand what services people want so we can plan for them.
  • Send you marketing email or text messages — only if you ticked the box asking us to. Ticking those boxes is never required to join the waitlist or to book a service with us.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing purposes.

Tracking, analytics, and cookies

This website runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no session-recording software. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta/Facebook pixel, and no tag manager. We do not set cookies to track you across websites, and we do not build advertising profiles.

Two things do load from other companies' servers when you visit:

  • Cloudflare Turnstile, the anti-spam check on our waitlist form. It may store a small amount of data in your browser to tell people apart from bots. It exists to stop spam, not to track you.
  • Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces this site uses. Because the font files are requested from Google's servers, Google receives your IP address as part of that request.

Who else touches your information

We keep the list of companies involved deliberately short:

  • Cloudflare, Inc. — hosts this website, runs the spam check, stores waitlist entries, and routes our email.
  • Resend — delivers the notification email that tells us you signed up.

Both act as service providers on our behalf. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist entries until you ask us to delete them, or until they're no longer useful — whichever comes first. If you become a client, your information is kept for as long as we're working together and afterwards as our records and tax obligations require.

Your choices

  • Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email we send.
  • Texts: reply STOP to any message.
  • Access, correction, or deletion: email hello@barkatthemoonllc.com and tell us what you'd like us to do. We'll take care of it.

We offer these choices to everyone who asks, regardless of where you live and regardless of whether a particular privacy law happens to apply to a business our size.

Children

This website is meant for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.

Security

Waitlist entries are transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored with our hosting provider. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

Changes

If we change how we handle your information — for example, if we ever add analytics or online booking — we'll update this page and change the date at the top.
